Symmetrics Announces New Vice President of Product Development to Lead Expansion of R&D
VANCOUVER, BC - Symmetrics Business Intelligence Solutions Inc., a leading provider of reporting, analytics and performance management solutions - announced today the appointment of Fred Tummonds to Vice President, Product Management and Product Development. Fred, a seasoned and highly experienced technology industry veteran, will have overall responsibility for the firm's research, development and product management efforts. His responsibility includes spearheading the design and development of new products offerings within the company’s roadmap, as we well continuing to evolve and improve the current product nVISION Contact Center Performance Management solution suite.

Fred Tummonds brings over 12 years of high tech industry experience to lead the product development and product management organization at Symmetrics. Prior to joining Symmetrics, he spent 11 years at Business Objects where he was Vice President responsible for Enterprise Reporting. Business Objects is the world leader in business intelligence and enterprise reporting software. At Business Objects, Fred was responsible for the strategy, product roadmap and delivery of the Enterprise Reporting servers and components including the world's leading report writer Crystal Reports. Prior to Business Objects Fred was a Naval Officer in the Canadian Navy where he worked on numerous software projects for the military.
A graduate of Royal Military College Kingston Ontario, Fred holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
