Symmetrics and The Call Center School Announce Partnership to Deliver Training on Nortel Networks Symposium Reporting
Vancouver, BC/Nashville, TN. - Symmetrics and The Call Center School (TCCS) announce the availability of a four-part web-based training curriculum for Nortel Networks Symposium Call Center reporting. In an effort to better address the reporting needs of Nortel Networks Symposium Call Center (SCCS) and Symposium Express Call Center (SECC) customers, these two market leaders have joined forces in bringing this innovative training program to the market.
The training program will be delivered via four 90-minute web seminars beginning in September 2004 and will run for four consecutive weeks. The cost of each session is US $275/CDN $375 or US $1000/CDN $1350 for all four sessions. An unlimited number of students may participate around a single web/audio connection, making this a cost-effective solution for training multiple users. All sessions will be held on Fridays at 8:00am Pacific/11:00am Eastern time.
The four sessions and dates are listed below:
Module 1: Symposium Reporting Architecture (September 24)
This session covers the reporting architecture in the Symposium Classic Client, Symposium Web Client, the Symposium Call Center Server and the Symposium database.
Module 2: The Symposium Database (October 1)

Students will also learn about the basic concepts of the relational database model which are needed to create effective reports using a report writing tool like Crystal Reports.
Module 3: Symposium Reporting (October 8)
This session goes 'behind the screens' of the reporting functionality within Nortel's Symposium Call Center Server (SCCS) or Symposium Express Call Center (SECC).The course provides an overall understanding of the reporting functionality within SCCS/SECC so users can fully leverage the built-in reporting capabilities of Symposium to maximize return on investment. Review of the primary standard reports and their meaning is also included.
Module 4: Using Crystal Reports for User-Created Reports (Oct. 15)
The final module in the series educated students on the basics of building user created reports. Students will see demonstrations of the most common features of the report-writing capability and will learn the four basic steps that every report designer should follow in the report development process.
According to Richard McElroy, President of Symmetrics, “This seminar series is a valuable offering to both new and existing Symposium users. TCCS is widely known in the industry for their innovative web and e-learning alternatives and we’re excited to put their expertise to use in delivering this training program to our Symposium customers.”
