nVISION On Demand eliminates manual copying, pasting and data manipulation, allowing you to easily consolidate new data into one master data set that dynamically builds over time. You don’t need to know anything about connecting to underlying databases, access permissions or SQL; nVISION On Demand can read Crystal Report files, CSV export files and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, which are the typical output formats for all of your systems.
Our data drivers not only read the data in the reports but also the metadata (data about the data) in the documents, which helps our intelligent ETL (extract, transform and load) layer better understand that information. The application then reads the reports, recognizes potential measures (numbers), dimensions (groups) and hierarchies (groups within groups).You simply upload new reports and nVISION On Demand loads the data into your datamart.
The nVISION On Demand Question Interface allows you to get answers from your data in a similar fashion to the way we think about it - "How many calls did we answer and handle last quarter?" This means not only can you get the results you need without a lot of training, but also that you can now empower more people by allowing them to get their own answers.
Behind the scenes, nVISION On Demand is generating standard database syntax for retrieving the data from the multidimensional database. Then it gives you the answer...in graphical or tabular formats.
